Blackcurrant has been called the “pearl of darkness” in Finnish folklore — a berry that ripens under the protection of shadows and strengthens against the trials of winter. Blackcurrant naturally grown in Kainuu and freeze-dried. 10 grams of freeze-dried berries corresponds to approximately 100 grams of fresh berries by weight. Freeze-drying preserves the berry’s valuable nutrients in an optimal way. We do not use anti-caking agents in our products, so the berry powder may clump slightly over time. This does not affect the usability of the product. Ingredients: Freeze-dried blackcurrant (skin, seeds, and pulp) Use: Add to yogurt, porridge, smoothies, desserts, and baking.
